The Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI), under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, has released an official notification for direct recruitment to multiple posts including Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Hydrographic Surveyor (JHS), and Senior Accounts Officer (SAO).

📚 Educational Qualifications

1️⃣ Lower Division Clerk (LDC):

• 12th class or equivalent from a recognized board/university.

• Typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi on computer.

2️⃣ Junior Hydrographic Surveyor (JHS):

• Degree in Civil Engineering OR

• Diploma in Civil Engineering with 3 years’ experience in Hydrographic/Land Survey OR

• SR I/II of Indian Navy with 7 years’ experience in Hydrography & Navigation.

• Desirable: Knowledge of computer programming.

3️⃣ Senior Accounts Officer (SAO):

• Degree with CA / CMA / ICWA Final or SAS (Commercial) examination passed.

• 3 years’ supervisory experience in accounts/finance in Govt./Semi-Govt./Reputed organization.

• Desirable: Degree/Diploma in Business Management.
