NHPC Limited (National Hydroelectric Power Corporation) – India’s leading hydropower PSU under the Ministry of Power.

NHPC Limited has officially announced that the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for various advertised posts under Notification No. NH/Rectt./04/2025 will be conducted on 29th October 2025.
The notification was released by the Human Resource Department, NHPC Office Complex, Faridabad (Haryana) on 15th October 2025.

🔹 Educational Qualification:

• JE Posts: Full-time 3-year regular Diploma in relevant branch with minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST/PwBD).

• Sr. Accountant: Inter CA / CMA Pass.

• Assistant Rajbhasha Officer & Hindi Translator: Master’s degree in Hindi/English with translation-related experience.

🔹 Age Limit:

• Maximum Age: 30 years (as on last date of application).

• Relaxations: 5 yrs (SC/ST), 3 yrs (OBC-NCL), up to 15 yrs (PwBD as per category).

🔹 Selection Process:

• Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Written Test (as applicable)

• Minimum Qualifying Marks:

  • Gen/OBC/EWS – 40%

  • SC/ST/PwBD – 35%

• Final Selection: Based on CBT merit + Document Verification.

🔹 Exam Pattern:

Medium: English & Hindi
Duration: 3 hours (200 marks)

For JE, Supervisor (IT), Sr. Accountant:

• 140 Qs – Technical Discipline

• 30 Qs – General Awareness

• 30 Qs – Reasoning

For Rajbhasha Officer & Hindi Translator:

• 40 MCQs + 10 Descriptive Qs (Discipline)

• 30 Qs – General Awareness

• 30 Qs – Reasoning

• Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer.

CBT/Written Exam in 19 cities – Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Gangtok, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Itanagar, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur & Ranchi.
