• CBT (Computer-Based Test): 100 marks, no negative marking, 2-hour duration

🔹 Application Fee

• ₹1000 for UR/OBC/EWS (Online only)

• Exempted: SC/ST, Women, Ex-Servicemen, and AAI Apprentices

🔹 Training & Bond (Electronics)

Selected candidates for Electronics will undergo:

• 12 weeks Ab-initio Training + 4 weeks OJT

• Stipend: ₹25,000/month

• Bond amount (in case of resignation during/after training): up to ₹3 lakhs

2. What is the pay scale for these posts?

All posts are in NE-6 level with a pay scale of ₹36,000–3%–₹1,10,000 (IDA pattern), plus allowances and benefits like HRA, DA, CPF, gratuity, medical, and perks @35% of basic pay.

3. Who can apply?

Only candidates domiciled in Eastern Region states/UTs can apply:

• West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands

4. What is the age limit?

As on 01.07.2025:

• General: 18–30 years

• OBC: +3 years

• SC/ST: +5 years

• Ex-servicemen, Widows, AAI employees: Additional relaxations as per rules

5. Is prior work experience required?

Yes. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience after qualification is mandatory for all posts.

6. What are the qualifications required?

• Electronics: Diploma in Electronics/Telecom/Radio Engineering

• Accounts: Graduate (preferably B.Com) + Computer literacy in MS Office

• Official Language: Master’s in Hindi/English or equivalent + Hindi-English translation knowledge + MS Office (Hindi)

7. What is the selection process?

• CBT (Computer-Based Test): 100 marks

• Computer Literacy Test: For Accounts and Official Language posts only

• Final Selection: Based on CBT merit and qualifying in the skill test

8. Is there any negative marking in the CBT?

No, there is no negative marking for wrong answers.

14. Can candidates outside Eastern Region apply?

No. Only candidates domiciled in the specified Eastern Region states/UTs are eligible.
